Public comment Period opens on Beaver Pond Trail restoration

Girdwood Trails Committee plans to apply for a Recreational Trails Program grant this fall.

Proposed work on the Beaver Pond Trail will bring it to the Class 3 Hiking Trail standard. Work includes restoration of the existing trail, brushing, maintenance, addition of culverts, gravel and restoration of water crossings along the trail alignment.

Public is encouraged to provide comments on this proposed project by Oct 30 2026.
